Broodmares at Heatherlea Farm

Bryn Taran Bizzy Lizzy:

2002 chestnut mare. Blue Rain bloodlines. Lizzy was purchased from Bryn Taran to join us out here in Idaho to be one of our broodmares. She recently had her first foal by Land's End Poseidon. She is a wonderful mare with an exceptional maternal instint. She is broke to ride and very easy going. She will continue as a broodmare for at least another year and then may possibly be sold as a hunter pony prospect. She has three white socks, excellent example of the classic welsh movment complimented by Triple Hill's flowing movement. First time I saw her jump a cross rail, I knew she was something extra special. She just about knocked herself in the jaw with her knees.

Rainette: By Hidden Creek's Rain Fox O/O Velvedeer (cross). Rainette is approximately 14.3 1/2hh. Bright bay, blaze, socks. She has been by far our best producing broodmare. She is having the 2005 breeding season off. She will be available for the 2006 breeding season in foal to Triple Hill. At that point her in-utero foal will be for sale. She has foaled the following ponies:

Fox Crossing Smooth SailingSOLD:2002 bay maiden mare in foal to TRIPLE HILLfor 2006 foaling season. This beautiful mare is our latest addition to our breeding program. She is by *Pendock Masterpiece and O/O Smooth Sailing (by Farnley Sudan O/O Even Keel (TB). We call her Que. Que is a full sister to All In Fun: 2004 Devon and Upperville winner.
