"Trip" is a half brother to Beaujolais*1996 Chronicle Pony of the Year and model winner at Devon Horse Show in 1998 & 1999 and Blue Nun 2001-2003 MHSA Pony BroodmareChampion. Beaujolais, Blue Nun & "Trip" were all out of Braodaxe Chablis. Broadaxe Chablis has a history that speaks for itself. Chablis qualified for indoors every time she was campaigned. She was ridden by Susie Slacum, who was one of the best on a pony. As a broodmare, she won 23 consecutive breeding classes and many Championships including Breeding Champion at Devon. Very seldom a broodmare defeats the younger ponies. She had 8 foals. Three of them were Devon Champions, two being Champion back to back: Autumn Hill 1993 Grand Champion Crossbred Pony at Devon (now shown as Steel City Blues), Strawberry Hill.
